Privacy Policy
This policy explains how PDFPixel handles files, cookies, analytics, advertising, and privacy requests.

File uploads and processing
PDFPixel tools process files directly in your browser using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas. Files are not uploaded to any external server. Temporary browser object URLs are removed when you reset a tool, create a new result, or leave the page. PDFPixel does not store, archive, or retain any files you process.
Information we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, reason, and message text.
- Technical logs: standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) used to maintain site security and reliability.
- Cookie consent records stored in your browser via localStorage.
- Analytics data: aggregate page view and tool usage counts, collected only when you consent to analytics cookies.
Publisher and contact details

Cookies
PDFPixel uses three categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies are always active and support basic site functions like navigation and consent storage.
- Analytics cookies measure page views and tool usage so we can improve the site. These require your consent.
- Advertising cookies are used by Google AdSense to serve, measure, and personalize ads. These require your consent.
You can manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner, the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing your browser data.
Google AdSense and third-party ads
PDFPixel uses Google AdSense to display ads. When you consent to advertising cookies, Google and its certified ad partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Data sharing
PDFPixel does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with Google AdSense as described above. Contact form submissions are received by the site operator only.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR for EU/EEA residents), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email hello@pdfpixel.dev. Since files are processed locally and not stored by PDFPixel, file deletion requests apply to contact submissions, consent records, and analytics data.
